How Often Do I Need to Visit the Dentist?
If you’re currently in good oral health, you should still visit our dental office every six months for a checkup and cleaning so that we can look for cavities and any other problems that might be developing. We can then intervene as needed and schedule follow-up appointments so that small issues don’t turn into emergencies.
Can You Place Dental Implants In-House?
Yes, Dr. Lisonbee is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is able to personally place and restore dental implants. Is a Toothache an Emergency?
If a toothache does not go away or becomes extremely painful, it should be treated as a dental emergency. Call us right away to schedule an appointment. We may find that the pain is caused by an infection, which might call for root canal therapy to save the tooth.
What Should I Do If I’m Scared of the Dentist?
If your dental anxieties are bad enough to actively discourage you from seeking care, ask us about having sedation performed at your next appointment.
